4 Ways to Fix the Gaps in Your Teeth

Everybody hates the teeth gaps. This problem called diastema is not liked by anyone as it spoils the social life of a person. Different reasons are responsible for the diastema problem, sometimes it is natural gaping that are created during the growth of the adult teeth, sometimes the other dental problems result the gaps in the teeth. Whatever the reason is and was, no one has to be troubled anymore about the issue as now new avenues of treatments are out. Through the cosmetic dentistry process, the gaps can be treated properly.

Before the actual treatments are done, several oral checkups are done to the patient so that the measurement of the gaps is made perfectly. The length of the gaps as well as the nature of the gap, as well as the general dental condition and health condition is also checked up properly by the cosmetic dentist. Then only they decide the fixing process for the gaps.

Using the Dental Braces:

To fixing gaps, there are very less amount of tools as dental braces are. The orthodontic braces are used after the teeth are properly checked up and the 3D image of the teeth is taken. Then the dentists start making the clear braces according to that imaging. The clear dental braces are made is such a way that they suit the dental setting of the patient. Now these clear braces are being used in London to improve the overall dental health. The braces are mainly made of the wires and aligners. The materials used for the dental braces also vary according to the requirements of the teeth settings.

These dental braces are used  for fixing the teeth to the accurate position. The braces have to be adjusted every week for this purpose. When the teeth settings come to the intended position, then the braces are taken off. Same way when the gaps are treated, slight pressure is used to make sure that the teeth gaps shorten up. Now there are clear braces for adults as well.

Bonding process:

For treating the tooth gaps, the process of esthetic bonding is also proven to be quite useful. Not only that the process is very cost saving, but also that the bonding material is 100% safe. Generally, the tooth colored resins is used for the bonding operation. If there is gap in between the two teeth then this bonding fills the gap and then this filling resin is made hard with the use of the ultraviolet rays or the laser rays. After this initial process, the dentists also polish and shape the filling. Within 30 minutes, the patients can have their teeth gaps completely filled in a way that will not be detected by the viewers. However, always these bonding are not lasting.

Using the Dental Veneers:

Filling the dental gaps is also possible with the dental veneers. In fact for you it is profitable to go through this process as the dental veneers are quite long lasting and their blending with the dentures is quite perfect. The porcelain veneers are mainly attached with the adjacent teeth and then it is cemented so that it remains fixed.

Using the dental implant or the artificial dentures:

Last but not the least, when the missing teeth cause the tooth gap then, the artificial dentures can come to use. Other than that, through the dental implants as well as the missing teeth can be replaced which will fill up the gap.
